Reward offered for information on car wash robbery suspect
Granite City police have released photos of a suspect in a robbery of a car wash and offered a reward for his capture.
The suspect went into the Rain Tunnel Express Car Wash at about 1 p.m. Wednesday, carrying a handgun and wearing a surgical mask. He took money from the cash register and was last seen running from the business.
Granite City police say an anonymous donor has offered $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect. Contact the Granite City Police Department at 618-877-6111.
