Batteries stolen from Madison school buses
Four Madison school district buses had batteries stolen from them overnight, according to a news release.
The batteries were stolen from four of seven buses in the Madison Community Unit School District No. 12 fleet sometime between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. Sunday.
The buses were fixed prior to dismissal Monday, and the routes went back to normal. Madison police continued to investigate the situation. Questions should be referred to the Madison Police Department.
