Police search for missing 16-year-old girl from Carbondale

Police were searching Wednesday for a missing 16-year-old girl from Carbondale.

Savannah Banks was last seen at 4 p.m. Jan. 20 at the Gateway Drug Rehab and Alcohol Treatment Center in the 1000 block of E. Park Street, according to Carbondale police.

She is a 5-foot-3 white female with blue eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and red and black shoes. Savannah may be in the Champaign or Piratt County area.
