Security tight at Marissa schools due to threat against students, staff
Marissa schools were in a heightened state of security Thursday morning after a threat was made against students and staff.
According to Marissa police, a threatening message was found late Wednesday written on a wall at the city’s junior and senior high school.
“We take all potential threats very seriously,” Marissa Police wrote on the department’s Facebook page. “We will be working with school officials to increase security at both schools tomorrow and we will continue to investigate.”
