Missouri man charged with threatening Shiloh police officers

A man from Fenton. Mo., has been charged with threatening Shiloh police officers.

St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Dan Lewis charged Jonathan S. Cousan, 22, of the 100 block of Stillbrook Estates Dr., with aggravated battery/peace officer, a Class 2 Felony, and two counts of threatening a public official, both Class 3 Felonies.

On Sunday, Shiloh Police Department was dispatched to a report of a subject attempting to break into vehicles within the 3300 block of Greenmount Crossing Drive. A suspect was located and taken into custody. While in custody the suspect made specific threats to harm two Shiloh police officers, and made physical contact with one of the Shiloh officers, according to police. No injuries were reported.

Cousan is currently in custody at St. Clair County Jail in lieu of $175,000.
