Country music singers Trace Adkins and Colt Ford are coming to Du Quoin.

Illinois State Fair Manager Patrick Buchen announced Friday that Colt Ford will headline an Aug. 29 Grandstand stage performance and Trace Adkins will perform there Aug. 30. Tickets for the Ford show will range between $15 and $20 and tickets for the Adkins show will range between $20 and $25.

“Colt Ford and Trace Adkins are big names in country music, and tickets to their shows at other regional venues would likely be double the price of a show here in Du Quoin. We are very excited to offer this quality of performance and this amazing savings to fairgoers,” Buchen said in a statement.

Tickets for the shows will go on sale later in the summer. Buchen said Friday’s was the first of several forthcoming announcements naming Grandstand stage acts for the fair that runs from Aug. 28 to Sept. 7.
