Police seek man accused of grabbing ring from jewelry store and sprinting out
Police were looking Wednesday for a man they say stole a ring from an Edwardsville jewelry store.
Edwardsville Police released a video and picture of a man who entered Hudson Jewelers at 2 p.m. Tuesday, looked at several rings, and then sprinted from the store with one of the rings. He then got away in a maroon car, police said.
The video appears to show the man asking to look at the rings, and suddenly grabbing one and running for the door.
Anyone with information can call the Edwardsville Police Department at 618-656-2131 or the anonymous tip line at 618-692-7552.
