Firefighters called to house fire in O’Fallon with partial floor collapse
O’Fallon Fire Department was at a house fire Tuesday afternoon and working around a partial floor collapse.
The home, at 129 Callaway Court, was smoking at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Officials at the fire said it started in the basement, but the cause was not known. There was a partial collapse of the first floor.
Six other agencies were supporting the O’Fallon Fire Department at the scene.
