An order to boil water was issued Monday night for the village of Fayetteville, according to the village board of trustees and mayor.
The boil order was in effect until further notice as of 10 p.m. Monday and was due to a loss in water pressure. Further details were not available Monday night.
During the boil order, customers in the affected area should bring their water to a rolling boil for five minutes before using it for drinking or cooking.
