Coroner IDs body found at Luhr’s Landing
Authorities have identified the body of a man found dead Wednesday at Luhr’s Landing near Columbia.
The Monroe County coroner used dental records to determine the body was of Ryan Sheedy, a 27-year-old man from Peru, Illinois.
“Sheedy was observed jumping off the Jefferson Barracks Bridge Deck on August 24, 2018,” Monroe County Coroner Bob Hill wrote in a press release.
He said the cause and manner of his death is still being investigated.
