Missing Fairview Heights woman found safe

Fairview Heights police announced Monday that a 69-year-old woman reported missing Sunday evening was found safe Monday.

A department press release stated Caldonia Porter was with her family in the area of 8 Ram Court near Moody Park when she walked away from them around 8:30 p.m.

Police first announced Porter was missing early Monday afternoon, but just a few hours later they learned Porter was found by a family member in East St. Louis sometime Monday.
