A Granite City man was charged Tuesday after students at Granite City High School reported threats made against the school Monday night.
Just before 6 p.m. on Monday, police learned of the threats that were made via social media, a Facebook post from Granite City police said. Police worked with the school district to determine where the threats were coming from and, at 7:40 p.m., arrested a person of interest.
On Tuesday, Dylan T. Stacy, 18, was charged with felony disorderly conduct in Madison County court.
According to the post, Stacy remained in custody in Granite City on Tuesday, pending extradition to Madison County Jail, police said. His bond was set at $100,000.
