Downtown Belleville businesses experiencing low water pressure
Belleville City Hall and other downtown buildings had low water pressure on Friday morning.
Illinois American Water did not immediately know what was causing the low water pressure. There wasn’t any water bubbling to the surface, said spokesperson Terry Mackin.
“Our teams are on it (as a) top priority,” Mackin said.
Mackin said the pressure problem seemed to be limited in scope but the company was assessing the situation.
