Crash closes lane of interstate near Salem
A multi-vehicle crash closed the right northbound lane of Interstate 57 for several hours Wednesday morning.
Illinois State Police Master Sergeant Shad Payne estimate the lane closure, about seven miles north of Salem, would last about four hours.
Payne did not release additional information about the crash.
He did advise drivers to proceed with caution.
