Rain a threat to Belleville’s Shriner parade
Rain is threatening to put a damper on Belleville’s annual Shriners’ parade.
A 60 percent chance of thunderstorms is in the forecast Friday, according to the National Weather Service. Heavy downpours are possible at times.
The most likely chance for rain comes around 3 p.m. The high temperature will reach 83.
According to the detailed forecast, there is a 30 percent chance of rain between 2-3 p.m. and a 40 percent chance of rain from 3-4 p.m. Then there is a break until right about the time the parade is supposed to start at 7:30 p.m.
There is a 35 percent chance of rain at 7 p.m., a 60 percent chance at 8 p.m. and a 65 percent chance at 9 p.m.
The evening low will drop to 69.
Showers and thunderstorms are likely again Saturday with the best chance of rain coming before 1 p.m. The high will be 78.
Saturday night will be mostly cloudy with the low dropping to 54 and a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms.
Sunday will be cloudy and cooler with a high of 69. it will be mostly cloudy with a low of 57 Sunday night.
