Partly sunny and warmer; temps still below normal
Temperatures will be warmer Tuesday.
But they’ll still be well below normal for the first week of June.
The high for the metro-east will be 73 under partly sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service.
That’s warmer than Sunday when the high was 60 and Monday when it was 66. But it’s still nine degrees cooler than the average high temperature for this time of year in the St. Louis metropolitan area, 82.
Overnight, the low will be 58.
The mercury will finally get back to normal under sunny skies Wednesday, when the high will be 81.
Wednesday night, the low will be 61 under mostly clear skies.
On Thursday, the high will be 83 and skies will be mostly sunny. It will be mostly cloudy with a low of 67 Thursday night.
