Temperatures on Wednesday will finally begin to feel a little bit more like early June.
The high will be reach 78 under partly sunny skies in the metro-east, according to the National Weather Service.
That’s only four degrees cooler than the average high temperature of 82 for this time of year in the St. Louis area. During the previous three days, the temperature topped out at 59, 66 and 73 in the metro-east.
Overnight Wednesday, the low will be 61 and skies will be mostly clear.

The warming trend will continue Thursday when the high will be 85. Skies will be mostly sunny.
A 20 percent chance of thunderstorms will move into the area Thursday evening when the low will be 67.
On Friday, the chance of storms will increase to 40 percent when the high temperature will reach 85.
