Missing Scott AFB airman scheduled for trial Monday

The Air Force is searching for a fugitive wanted for questioning related to an ongoing investigation.

Scott Air Force Base Technical Sgt. David Helm, 35, of Tenn., is missing, according to a wanted flyer posted on the Air Force Office of Special Investigations’ Facebook page. Helm is scheduled to face trial by court martial Monday for alleged offenses including sexual assault, sexual abuse of a child, indecent filming or photographing private areas of another person without consent and simple assault.

Helm is a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, according to the flyer. He drives a black Yamaha motorcycle.
