Sunny skies and above average temperatures are going to hang out in the metro-east over the next few days.
The high will reach 90 with clear skies Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. That’s six degrees higher than the average high temperature for the second week of June in the St. Louis metropolitan area, 84.
The low will drop to 68 overnight under mostly clear skies.
On Wednesday, it will be sunny with a high of 93 during the daytime hours and mostly clear with a low of 71 overnight.

A few clouds will move into the area Thursday when the high will reach 93. It will be partly cloudy Thursday night with a low of 73.
