A discount appliance chain will soon open its first location in the metro-east.

Appliance Discounters, a family-owned discount, factory-direct appliance retailer, based in Webster Groves, Missouri, has signed a lease on a 10,355 square-foot space at 6104 N. Illinois St., in the same plaza that also houses The Bedroom Store and Cherry Berry Yogurt.

Tim Johnston, vice president of NAI Desco in O’Fallon, said the new store is anticipated to open sometime this fall. The chain also has stores across the river in Webster Groves, Missouri; Arnold, Missouri; St. Charles, Missouri, and Ballwin, Missouri.
