Former St. Clair County assessor asks for help in locating his missing wife

The wife of Percy McKinney has gone missing, the former St. Clair County tax assessor said.

Joyce McKinney, 72, was last seen at about noon on Tuesday, her husband said. That’s when she left the couple’s East St. Louis home to pick up their dog from a Fairview Heights pet groomer.

She was wearing a Dallas Cowboys jacket and cap and was driving a silver Mercedes Benz E350 with licence plate IV GIVN 1.

Percy McKinney says he has filed a missing person report with the East St. Louis Police Department and asks anyone who may have information to call them at 482-6767.
