Boil order issued for entire Mound Public Water District in unincorporated Collinsville
The Mound Public Water District in unincorporated Collinsville in St. Clair County is under a boil order until further notice due to a water main break, the company said Wednesday.
Though the water main had been fixed, crews were still working to flush out hydrants and making sure the water was safe, a district spokesperson said. The boil order is expected to go on until at least Thursday morning.
There are approximately 500 customers in the district, the spokesperson said. The district will be in touch with customers when the order is lifted.
