Troopers reopen Interstate 70 after head-on crash caused detour to Interstate 57
The eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 reopened in Effingham County Saturday afternoon after being closed because of a head-on crash, Illinois State Police announced.
Details of the crash have not been released. The crash occurred at milepost 102.5.
Police had detoured eastbound drivers onto northbound Interstate 57 at milepost 98.
