St. Clair County coroner identifies woman found in garage in East St. Louis

The woman whose body was found last week inside of a garage behind a vacant residence at 2408 Bond Ave. in East St. Louis has been identified by the St. Clair County coroner.

St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr. said Friday the woman is Alexandria Monique Wilson-Wiley, 32,of the 700 block of N. 81st Street.

Dye said Wilson-Wiley was identified forensically.

A cause of death is undetermined. Dye said his office is waiting on further test results.
