Heavy rain expected the next two days


The metro-east will remain stuck Thursday in the wet weather pattern that has drenched the area all week.

Heavy rain is expected with the most likely time for downpours expected after 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

The high temperature will be 79.

Thursday night, the chance of rain is pegged at 100 percent with more downpours likely. The low is expected to be 69.

The Friday forecast again calls for a 100 percent chance of rain with downpours expected at times. The high will be 79.

The chance of rain will decrease slightly to 70 percent Friday night with a low of 70.

Wet weather should finally move out of the area Saturday when rain tapers off during the early morning hours. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a high of 87.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy with a low of 74.
