The highest earner in 2019, the latest figures available, was Sewage Plant Manager Randy Lepere, who was paid $97,217, according to records provided to the BND from 2019 through a Freedom of Information Act request.
Plant Supervisor Mark Mercer was the second-highest earner, bringing in $79,476, the records show.
Chief Operator Engineer Roberty Cerny was third on the list with a salary of $75.655.
In 2019, then Township Supervisor Debbie Donovan earned $32,199. Donovan died in Oct. 2020 due to illness. She had served as township supervisor since 2017, after being named to the position following the death of her husband Rick Donovan, who was elected to the office in April 2017 but died before his swearing-in ceremony.
The BND’s Public Pay Database goes back to 2011 with information obtained through Freedom of Information Act requests. The salary information does not always include insurance or benefits. Some records include detailed information on overtime and other pay, while for some districts that information was not readily available.
The database includes worker compensation in most local governments, including cities, counties, townships, school districts and local colleges and universities. More pay records will be added as the BND receives salary data through open records requests.
