A new restaurant specializing in breakfast and brunch opens in Madison County
The Twisted Biscuit Brunch Co. opened its doors on Monday, June 14, in Edwardsville.
Plans to open Twisted Biscuit were announced in January with a press release that described the eatery as a concept that would have “all of the classics and customer favorites with our culinary interpretations baked in,” according to Michael Hussey, director of operations & executive chef.
Naturally, they have twisted biscuits – it’s in their name, after all. Biscuits, both sweet and savory, are sold by the basket.
The menu offers egg dishes, pancakes, waffles, French toast, frittatas, and many other breakfast favorites. But Twisted Biscuit doesn’t stop there. The menu also includes lunch items like chicken tenders, tacos, burgers and other sandwiches. A kids menu is available as well.
What’s a hearty meal without something refreshing to wash it down? Twisted Biscuit has a list of adult beverages: bloody marys and mimosas, boozy coffee drinks, beer and wine. Coffee, tea, juice and soft drinks are available.
