New restaurant in Fairview Heights is ready to open; freebies, celebration planned
The big day is almost here! Raising Cane’s Fairview Heights, located at 6565 N. Illinois St., opens its doors Tuesday, Aug. 10, and it’s ready to celebrate with the community.
The day’s festivities kick off at 9 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Fairview Heights Mayor Mark Kupsky and the Metro-East Regional Chamber of Commerce. Also in attendance will be St. Louis Cardinals mascot Fredbird and the O’Fallon High School Band, according to an Aug. 5 press release. KSHE radio personality Lern will host a live radio remote starting at 11 a.m.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. , Raising Cane’s will accept entries for its “Lucky 20” drawing to award 20 customers, aged 13 years and over, free Cane’s for a year. The first 100 dine-in customers, ages 13 and older, will receive a free Raising Cane’s T-shirt.
“We’ve hired over 115 amazing Crewmembers, and we are excited and ready to start sharing our ONE LOVE® with the Fairview Heights Community,” Restaurant Leader Nicole Costello stated in the release. “As the Retail Hub of Southern Illinois, Fairview Heights is a great spot for our new Restaurant. After all, there’s nothing better than enjoying tasty chicken fingers before or after shopping. We can’t wait to celebrate our grand opening with everyone next week!”
Raising Cane’s will serve its customers, known as “Caniacs,” every day from 10 a.m. to midnight through its mobile app, online ordering, takeout, dine-in, and multi-lane drive-thru. For more information about Raising Cane’s, visit raisingcanes.com.
