Business Briefing: St. Louis consumers sign petition in support of UberX
Almost 3,300 St. Louis-area residents have signed a petition to urge local regulators to allow ride-sharing businesses to operate in the city.
The Metropolitan Taxicab Commission is currently discussing whether to allow UberX, an app-based ride-sharing service, to enter the St. Louis market, which remains the largest metropolitan area in the country yet to permit UberX to operate.
