Here’s a list of Halloween weekend events in southwestern Illinois

Here’s a list of what’s going on across southwestern Illinois:

Trunk or Treat-Gateway Classic Cars — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30. Gateway Classic Cars, 1237 Central Park Drive, O’Fallon. Kids activities and vendors will be on site. Car clubs and enthusiasts are encouraged to bring down their classic cars (decorated or not) and some goodies to pass out to the trunk or treaters. Halloween Party in the Park — 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30. City Park, 101 S. Buchanan St., Edwardsville. Community Candy Walk will include local businesses and organizations that will line the sidewalks around City Park with decorated booths/spaces and give out treats. Little trick-or-treaters can participate in the annual Costume Contest at noon with categories covering all age groups plus group costumes and pets. Halloween Spooktrunkular Event — 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30. Soulcial Kitchen, 127 North Belt East, Swansea. As part of the grand opening event for Soulcial Kitchen’s brick and mortar Restaurant & Bar, there will be a costume contest for guests. Come to the event and let the folks at Soulcial Kitchen snap a photo of you, in all your gory glory. They will post your photo to the Soulcial Kitchen FB page and “boo-ever” gets the most FB likes by 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 31 wins. facebook.com/soulcialkitchen

Too Cute To Spook Pumpkin Trail — 3-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30. Main Street, Downtown Breese. Includes downtown trick or treating, kids activities, business pumpkin decorating contest, a children’s costume contest at 6 p.m., haunted house at Gridiron and a pet costume contest. CBD Kratom Trunk or Treat — 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30. CBD Kratom, 10300 Lincoln Trail, Fairview Heights. A family-friendly Halloween event featuring traditional trick or treating candy and a special area for treats, prizes, and an Instagram giveaway.

Alton Halloween Parade — 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30. Alton. The parade will begin at the corner of Washington Avenue and Broadway and continue on Broadway to Piasa Street. The parade will then turn right onto Piasa to 9th Street. riversandroutes.com
