Despite the ups and downs of the coronavirus pandemic in 2021, new restaurants, cafes and bars opened across southwestern Illinois this year.

Reporter Jennifer Green compiled a list and shared it with BND subscribers in a column this week.

Now it’s time for you to weigh in.

We’ve put together a reader poll with a sampling of 2021 restaurant openings around the region. What’s your favorite new restaurant on this list?

We know this poll doesn’t include every new or relocated business in 2021. The list would be too long.

And the survey is by no means scientific. In fact, you can vote as many times as you want. This is just for fun.
