Kiss me, I’m Irish!
Actually don’t kiss me; I don’t know you. And I’m not really Irish (as far as I know).
And before you ask, no, I don’t wear green for St. Paddy’s Day. I get a lot of “Your name is Green, and you’re wearing green …” (insert eye roll here).
But every year for St. Patrick’s Day, everyone gets to be Irish, including me and my coffee.
So enjoy a shepherd’s pie, chug some green beer (or a warm Guinness) and choose one of these events to celebrate the day!

▪ Millstadt Leprechaun Crawl — 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 12. Millstadt. Registration starts at 11 a.m. and concludes by 1 p.m. at the Millstadt VFW, 200 Veterans Drive. ▪ Downtown Alton St. Pat’s Pub Crawl — 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 12. Downtown Alton. Downtown Alton is gearing up to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. There will be a free shuttle available providing transportation to participating bars and restaurants throughout the day.
