What are your questions about the oil pipeline leak in Edwardsville? Here’s how to weigh in

An estimated 165,000 gallons of crude oil leaked from a pipeline in Edwardsville, and crews have been working on a cleanup since the leak began Friday.

Marathon Pipe Line, the energy company that operates the pipeline, is searching for a cause. Federal, state and local agencies are investigating.

The oil leak started Friday morning in Edwardsville near Illinois 143 and Old Alton Edwardsville Road and entered Cahokia Creek, which is parallel to the pipeline.
