Here are poll leaders in Round 2 of voting for best Mexican restaurant in southwest IL
Before the week is out and we go offline until Monday (or is that just me?), I wanted to give a quick update on Round Two of our ongoing Mexican restaurant poll.
Here’s where our eight contenders stand as of Friday afternoon:
Mariachi’s - 74 votes
Margaritas Mexican Restaurant - 67 votes
Casa Azteca - 62 votes
El Gordito - 57 votes
Casa Maria Mexican Grill - 56 votes
La Casa Mexicana - 55 votes
Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant - 51 votes
Tres Caminos Mexican Restaurant - 50 votes
The numbers seem to be on the low side. My recommendation: Go grab some dinner at one of these places to help you decide how to vote.
Don’t forget, the voting ends at 11:59 p.m. Saturday, March 19.
Come Monday, March 21, we’ll learn who made the Final Four. Until then, grab a margarita and happy voting.
