Salaries, wages for Breese city employees added to BND Public Pay Database
The salaries and wages of Breese city employees have been added to the Belleville News-Democrat’s Public Pay Database.

The highest earner was Dale Detmer, the manager of the city’s electric department, who was paid $109,842.87 in total wages, according to records provided to the BND through a Freedom of Information Act request for the 2020-2021 fiscal year that ended on April 30, 2021.
Donald Voss, the public works director and building inspector, was the second-highest earner in the city, bringing in $101,936.88, the records show.
Wayne Rolfingsmeier, a lineman for the electric department, was third with total wages of $96,013.02.
The fourth highest earner was Michael Berndsen, a paramedic with the ambulance department, with $93,088.37 in total wages.
The fifth-highest earner was Police Chief Robert Fix with $91,176.60. Fix has since retired from his post.
