Lane restriction on Interstate 64 may cause traffic delays this week

The right lane of westbound Interstate 64 is scheduled to be closed from Tuesday through Thursday between Okawville and Damiansville to allow for road repairs, according to the Illinois Department of Public Transportation.

“Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area,” a release states. “To avoid the work area, when feasible, use of alternate routes should be considered. “
