Traffic moving again at I-255 and I-70 following crash. Here’s what we know.

All lanes of northbound I-255 just before the I-270 interchange near Exit 30 in Madison County are now open after traffic was stopped due to a crash, according to the Illinois State Police.

At 4:18 p.m. Wednesday, the Illinois Department of Transportation had reported the lanes were blocked due a crash. However, Sgt. Thompson with the ISP said the lanes had reopened as of 5 p.m. Wednesday.

“They do have them open. They’re just waiting on one more tow to get the car, which is on the side of the road at this point,” he said.

No other information was available.
