Firefighters respond to early morning call in Lebanon

Firefighters responded early Thursday morning to a structure fire.

According to fire department reports, the fire started at about 5 a.m. near the intersection of East Center and North Herman streets about a block north of Highway 50.

The fire was quickly extinguished. Firefighters at the scene reported the flames were under control by 5:38 a.m.

There is no word if there was anyone in the building at the time of the fire or if anyone was hurt battling the blaze.
