Business briefing: Southwest bringing back flights to Little Rock

Flights to Little Rock are returning to Lambert-St. Louis International Airport next year.

Southwest Airlines is resuming the non-stop flights following a two-year hiatus. The two daily flights to Bill and Hillary National Airport are scheduled for take off on Jan. 6.

T-Mobile now provides U.S. customers service in Canada and Mexico at no extra charge. Because of its customers’ travel north and south of the border, the wireless company has found consumers have been charged billion of dollars in roaming charges. Read more here.

Procter & Gamble Co. is selling its Miss Clairol, Covergirl, Max Factor and 40 other brands to a competitor. Coty is purchasing these lines for $15 billion in a deal that includes stock valued at about $13.1 billion and $1.9 billion in debt. Find out more here.

Greece’s economic turmoil does not pose much of a threat to the world’s economy, according to Olivier Blanchard, director of research at the International Monetary Fund. Blanchard said the global economy has “withstood the stress tests of the last two weeks fairly well.” Learn more here.
