A driver was ticketed but no one was hurt in a two-vehicle collision that left an SUV on its roof in Freeburg Thursday afternoon.

According to police at the scene, a newer light teal Hyundai SUV was stopped on High Street at the intersection with South State Street shortly after 4 p.m. when it entered the intersection headed east. It was struck by a northbound 1990s forest green Dodge pickup. The SUV overturned as a result of the collision.

Police said the driver of the Hyundai was cited for failing to yield. Both drivers, whose names were not released, refused medical attention at the scene. Traffic was partially blocked along State Street but there were no major delays.
