Authorities identify man who was struck by vehicle in hit-and-run in East St. Louis
Authorities have identified a man who was killed when he was struck by a vehicle early Sunday in East St. Louis.
Joshua Lee Holman, 42, of Fox Chase Drive, Arnold, Missouri, was pronounced dead at 4:25 a.m., according to St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr.
He had been walking near Illinois 157 and Church Lane when an unidentified vehicle struck him and left the scene, authorities said.
He did not have any identification on his person, so authorities did not know his identity until now.
No other information was released regarding the accident.
