WATCH: Belleville’s annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast held in person for 1st time since 2020

The 58th Annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast in Belleville was held in person Wednesday for the first time since 2020.

The prayer breakfast is a city-county version of the Presidential Prayer Breakfast held annually in Washington, D.C. and is sponsored by a voluntary committee of concerned citizens.

The theme for this year’s event was “Belonging Begins With Belleville!”

Mayor Patty Gregory delivered remarks to the crowd, while guest speaker Donna Moody, president of the Center for Racial Harmony, was the inspirational speaker with a message about inclusion.

Belleville West’s Maroon Magic performed for those in attendance at Belle Court Manor.
