Metro-east retailer sells unclaimed $350K Lucky Day Lotto ticket. See winning numbers
A Lucky Day Lotto ticket worth $350,000 was purchased in the metro-east area over the weekend, and the winner has yet to step forward to claim their prize.
The jackpot-winning numbers from March 5’s evening drawing were 7, 18, 20, 26 and 34, the Illinois Lottery said in a press release.
The winning ticket was sold at the Godfrey MotoMart, located at 5311 Godfrey Road in Godfrey.
Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize. The Illinois Lottery encourages winners to write their names on the backs of their tickets and keep them in a safe place until their prize is claimed.
The state lottery’s Lucky Day Lotto is played twice daily, seven days a week. March 5’s drawings resulted in nearly 14,000 other prizes, the Illinois Lottery said, though the other winnings ranged from $1 to $200.
Lucky Day Lotto games cost $1 to play and ask players to pick five numbers between one and 45. Each jackpot starts at $100,000 and gradually increases in value until a player wins.
