$400K lottery ticket sold in southwestern Illinois store

A $400,000 Lucky Day Lotto ticket was drawn in a New Baden convenience store on Wednesday.

“The winning ticket matched all five numbers, 6-13-37-42-45, in the midday April 12 drawing,” the Illinois Lottery announced Thursday.

The ticket was purchased at the Moto store at 409 E. Hanover St. in New Baden.

The person who bought the ticket has not yet claimed the winning prize. Winners have one year to claim a lottery prize.

If the prize is over $250,000, winners can remain anonymous.

The Lucky Day Lotto is played twice a day, seven days a week.
