At least three people have been shot in Cahokia Heights, police said Wednesday evening
At least three people have been shot in the 500 block of St. Leo Drive in Cahokia Heights, Police Maj. Tony Tomlinson said Wednesday evening.
The shootings were reported about 7 p.m.
The three wounded people were taken to a St. Louis area hospital, Tomlinson said. Their conditions were unknown.
No arrests have been made.
The Illinois State Police crime scene unit was at the scene of the shooting.
Tomlinson said someone fired from a vehicle. The victims were standing along the road.
Tomlinson said the investigation into the shootings just began and no other details were available.
