Belleville police investigating shooting death of 22-year-old man

A 22-year-old man was shot to death in the 900 block of Sixth Street in Belleville on Saturday night, according to authorities.
Demarco A. Davis Jr., whose last known address was in East St. Louis, was pronounced dead at 10:53 p.m. in the emergency room at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr. said.
No other information was immediately available.
Belleville Police Department is handling the investigation.
