Semi involved in I-255 crash near Dupo

An overnight traffic accident closed two lanes of Interstate 255 near Dupo early Monday.

According to police reports, the crash involved a semi and another vehicle and happened at about 4:45 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the interstate near the Mousette Lane interchange.

Additional details, including what caused the accident and if anyone was injured in the collision, were not immediately available.

Traffic lanes were re-opened in time for the morning rush hour.
