Sunny skies and comfortable temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday

It’s going to be a nice time to be outside during the next couple days.

Skies are expected to be sunny Tuesday across the metro-east with mild temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.

The high will top out at 84, about seven degrees cooler than the average high temperature for late July in the St. Louis area, 91.

Overnight, skies will become partly cloudy with a low of 63.

It will be mostly sunny Wednesday with a high of 83.

There is a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms will move into the area Wednesday night with a low of 65.

The possibility of rain will continue into Thursday when there is a 40 percent chance of storms all day and into the evening hours.

The high Thursday will be 83 and the overnight low will be 69.
