How much more snow can the metro-east expect Thursday and Friday? The latest forecast
Folks who wanted some snow this week got their wish overnight in parts of the St. Louis region. How much more can we expect?
Parts of the metro-east could see a little more snow Thursday afternoon and into Friday, according to the latest forecasts for local communities.
In parts of the region, rain and snow are likely after 4 p.m., with less than a half inch of snow accumulation before midnight. Friday, more rain and snow are expected, with less than a half an inch of snow accumulation possible before 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
“Locally higher amounts near 1.5” are possible (60%) under snow showers producing higher snowfall rates,” the St. Louis region forecast states. “While snow will fall across some areas during the evening rush hour the chance for widespread travel impacts is low (20%).”
