Save A Lot will open its second grocery store in East St. Louis next week.
The new store at 10 Vieux Carre Drive will open to customers on Wednesday morning. Save A Lot also operates another store in town at 2600 State St.
Fezziwig’s Marketplace — a seller of gourmet foods, wine, loose leaf teas and cooking oils — has left Lebanon after almost eight years for a larger space. You can now find them at 225 W. First St. in O’Fallon, where cooking classes as well as tea and wine education courses will continue to be taught. Tim Moore and Ellen Leaf-Moore opened the business at 218 and 220 W. Sandwiches, soups and salads are made fresh daily at NannyLou’s Kitchen in Belleville. The eatery just opened its doors at 1926 W. Main St., where they serve breakfast and lunch. As students return to school up the street at Lindenwood University, NannyLou’s might expand with evening hours. Hobby Lobby is anticipating a move in Fairview Heights by this fall. Hobby Lobby will be leaving the Crossroads Centre along Lincoln Trail and relocating across the street to the Fairview City Centre, at the corner of Lincoln Trail and North Illinois Street. The retailer could be moving to a new building at the south side of the shopping center by late September.
And finally, the drive-through lane has re-opened at Krispy Kreme in Fairview Heights. The doughnut eatery at 5812 N Illinois St. had recently closed the drive-though during its remodeling.
